Quinoa is a grain that comes from Peru originally. It is simple, flavorful, and very nutritious.

It is so easy to prepare, you make it just like rice! I use it instead of rice quite often.

To really punch up the flavor, I always use a stock as the cooking liquid. I like to sauté onions and garlic as the base before I add the quinoa and stock.

Experiment with almost anything you want to ad super tastiness into the mix.
